what is the origin of the phrase "VTEC just kicked in yo!!!"?

im not talking about virginia tech. im talking about HONDA's VTEC engine. and yes i know what it stands for. i just wanna know the ORIGIN of the phrase abovedamnn.. people dont just get it.. im asking about the origin..of course i know when u hit ~6k RPM u hit VTEC i got a lude!

...just for the record, vtech kicks in at 4,000RPM.

It was invented by Honda R&D engineer Ikuo Kajitani. It can be said that VTEC, the original Honda variable valve control system, originated from REV (Revolution-modulated valve control) introduced on the CBR400 in 1983 known as HYPER VTEC.
