The MIL light is on and diagnosed as p0108, which reads as manifold absolutely pressure

Air flow. check air filter and mass flow sensor in throttle body

Basically, it's a measure of intake manifold vacuum, you may have a leak or obstruction, or the map sensor itself could have a problem. You may have to do some additional evaluating with a scan tool.

Well the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is used to monitor intake manifold pressure (engine load). It sends voltage signals to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) that represent the engines varying load conditions.Maybe you need to test your MAP sensor onlyInspect the rubber fitting from the MAP sensor to the throttle body. Repair as necessary. becareful when testing the MAP sensor, be sure that the harness wires are not damaged by the test meter probes. Test the MAP sensor output voltage at the MAP sensor connector terminal B. With the ignition switch ON, and the engine OFF. Output voltage should be 4 to 5 volts. Test the MAP sensor output voltage at the MAP sensor connector terminal B at a hot, neutral idle speed condition. The voltage should drop to 1.5 to 2.1 volts. Test MAP sensor supply voltage at sensor connector terminal C with the ignition ON. The voltage should be approximately 5 volts Ok you said that your MIL (Malfunction Indicator lamp) light is on so that means theres a possible emission related problemThe MIL gives either a steady or a blinking light. If you have a steady light it means a fault that may cause high engine or evaporative emission. When its a blinking light or flash then its a severe level of engine misfirebut you can't rule out the fact that it can also be a wire malfunction..
