Rim/Tire fitting question: 2003 accord??

Hey just looking for a honda expert to give me a hand, I have a 2003 Accord v6 coupe that im putting a new set of wheels on. stock rims are 16 with 205/60/16 tires. I like the ride height how it is right now and dont want more wheel gap!! lol

I have a few questions:

1)whats the stock offset? i know the bolt pattern is 5x114.5

2)whats the best size tire to put with a 18 inch rim to get if i dont want to effect the ride height. (keep the overall hight of wheel)

3)Im looking at a set of 18s 225/40/18s they are 18x8” and are +42 mm offset...the rim shop said its a good fit....is it true?

4)do 2004+ acura tl 17s and s type 18s with stock tires fit good?

Thanks!!
