I have a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 with about 50,000 miles on it. Just recently I have noticed a slight rattling noise coming from the center console (underneath the gear shifter and emergency brake) on the highway at speeds over 55 mph. It doesn't happen at lower speeds or over bumps, just when the car is cruising or accelerating at higher speeds. The noise sort of sound metallic, not loud, but was noticeable with the radio on a low volume. The noise doesn't sound too dangerous, just like a slight rattle - but enought to get me a little worried. Can anybody provide some ideas about what this might be? or where to start? Thanks!
