Problem after CV Joint replaced

Problem after CV Joint replaced
Last week my car (2004 Civic LX) with 140k started making a loud popping when making right turns (right front). Naturally, the first suspect was the CV joint/shaft. I replaced it and the popping stopped. However, now my car is pulling to the left going down the highway.
A little background on the vehicle....I replaced the brake pads and rotors in June. A lady ran a red and hit the rear wheel straight on in July. This required a new rear stabilizer arm and wheel bearing. Alignment was done after the suspension parts were replaced. I also replaced the tires. There was no pull in the steering after those things were done. All of this work except CV joint/shaft was done by a 25 yr honda mechanic with quality honda parts.
Can anyone think of a reason why the car would have pull to the steering now? I'm kind of concerned that the part is not right. It looked almost identical to the CV shaft that came off of the car. The parts store said that this was the correct part for this model and that it will work for a car without ABS even though it has the ABS ability. Any ideas out there?

It's very possable you could have damaged the inner CV joint. The best way to tell is to raise it in the air and watch the axle shaft when it's spinning. Yeah, you should bring it in somewhere and have them check it out. Good Luck!
