Engine Code: - B18C5
Type - In-line four, aluminum block, aluminum head
Internal Mods
- Stock cams
External Modifications
- Original Turbo: Revhard turbo kit as a starting point
- Current Turbo: Turbonetics T3/TO4e (60 trim on the cool side, trim unknown on the hot side)
- Intercooler: Spearco 20x7.5x3.5 inch core
- Charge piping: Revhard mandrel bent steel, Greddy S Blow off valve
- Intake: Homemade by me, 3" mandrel bent aluminum with the biggest K&N I could find, cold air induction from right inner fender outside the engine compartment
- Exhaust: Homemade 3 inch mandrel bent T304 stainless; tig-welded (clears the a/c compressor btw.) Mates to a test pipe - home made, can be swapped for high flow cat if needed; Thermal 3" mandrel bent polished stainless Cat-back
Engine Management
- Apexi: VAFC
- Timing: static and dynamic - stock
- Fuel: Holley Forced induction fuel pump, AEM fuel rail, RC440 injectors, Honda regulator modified for lower idle fuel pressure
- Ignition: MSD cap with blaster-2 external coil, MSD capacitive discharge ignition box with boost retard (from a Mustang - it was free.)
- Plugs/Wires: Stock original spark plugs, stock ignition wires (had Magnacores, but they fell apart)
Other - Moroso 5-quart oil pan
- Stainless braid #10 oil drain
- Home-made vacuum manifold to mount map sensor and other vacuum/boost hoses
- Homemade oil catch can (aluminum - red anodized)
- FAL low profile high flow fans.
Horsepower - Unknown: yours truly, strip tuned never on the dyno yet until Hondata
Torque - unknown
