Unhappy Need Help Please! Bad Smoke and Idles Rough

I have smoke whenever i accelarate a bit when idleing, its a DOHC ZC in a 89 Honda SI H/B. It backfires a bit through the intake manifold and runs very rough. i got new cam sensor and new O2 sensor. its a black/brownish colour smoke and stinks like gas. the car has little power and as i said b4 its very rough ride and dies when gas is let go. what could cause such things to happen? it runs a bit after cranking it and dies off and idle goes from 450 to 750 rpm then she just dies off and shuts down.
What Could It be?

I answered your PM. Check your firing order first. Then check your plugs. If they are fine, I would replace the cap and rotor. These are the simplest fix for the simplest things. If these don't work, check your cam timing, or if the distributor is in the proper alignment to the cam. The reason I'm suggesting these things is it sounds like 1 or 2 spark plugs are either not firing, or are firing out of sequence. The only other thing I can think of is broken valve springs, but that's a long shot, and you don't want to go there unless you have to.
