Need help asap..please!!

Guys:

Just got a 1992 civic hatch that I'm not sure about. Anyways the car has to rev very very hard and then the car barely starts moving. Coming up on the clutch all the way doesn't stall the car if it's in gear and sometimes the car would be driving along and then just start to putter even if I floor it it keeps fluttering. It stops when I put the car in neutral and back into gear. Happens every few minutes. Any suggestions? Clutch gone?

Sweet. That's what I was thinking but I needed some confirmation.

Are you sure? .lol..Thanks man.

Yeh today I noticed I don't even have to clutch in to start it. Just insert the key and turn and it fires up no problem. Same as before as well...let go of the clutch and it just keeps on idling in first..lol..crazy car.

Start the car and slap it in 5th gear and let go of the clutch, if the car is still running then you need a new clutch, but if it stalls then your still ok

Yeh the car took tons of time to move and was revving like crazy. I know it totally tripped up one lady cuz I was showing her to come out of the gas station meanwhile I'm getting ready to move and the car is getting looouuuuddd and she's so puzzled on whether to go or not..lol...I got it changed and put in a stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel but here's another thing. It will still start without clutching in...clutch bypass maybe? I haven't really inspected the car yet and there's this one random toggle switch on the dash that I have no idea what it does. I think I'll trace it and see where that leads. Could it be because the clutch is new that it starts without clutching in. I know it has an alarm system still hooked up but I didn;t get a remote for the thing so I have no idea what's wired up in there. Once I get the other car sold and get some cash I'll get it tuned and have them check the mapping and all the other nitty gritties. Car drives awesome now but I haven;t pushed it at all cept for maybe once. Gotta let the clutch sink in and get some wear first.
