Need ADVISE on good WINTER TIRES for Honda Civic?
I have a 2004 Honda Civix DX and I need to get new tires since my traction is worn (I have about 40,000 miles on it). Right now I have on Bridgestones and my tire size is 195/ 60-15. I can spend around $70/tire (or up to about $300 for the set)...Im trying to figure out what is a good winter tire, but also a good all season tire...oh, and something thats not gonna be treadless after 20,000 miles. Does anybody know if I HAVE to use 15's or can I use 14's on my car? When I go to different tire sites and type in my car's make/year, they say the usual tire size for my car is 185/ 70-14. I have the original tires on from when I bought my car so should I just stick with the 15's?Also, do you know if the Yokohama or Blizzak are good tires? Ive been looking at those and Michelins and want tires that will handle good in the snow, but also want them to be good all season tires.Anyone have any good requests?
