motor prep

my old LS motor is going to be seeing boost later this summer and i dont want it to blow up on me. to rebuild the motor i plan on getting new rod and crank bearings, new rings (w/ old pistons), and a set of aftermarket rods (eagle or probe ind.) im gunna be runnin round 10 psi, how flawed are my plans here? or are they ok. is there anything else i should get for it? keeping in mind this is fairly low budget.

if i were u id opt for aftermarket pistons and just have the LS rods shot peened and have arp rod bolts added on for some reassurance... psi is meaningless with out u giving specific size details on ur turbo....10 psi from a T88 is alot more than 10 psi from T25 in terms of ho value since 10 psi is 10psi hope this shed a bit of light on ur situation..
