ITR pistons + LS rods

I hear you have to do some machining to make LS style rods mate with ITR pistons. Is it worth while? What all must be done? I can get a set of the ITRs for $50 used of course, but I havent been able to find any B16 ones which would solve all my problems.

ive never heard that

ive never heard of any machining needed to match any rods with pistons, so long as there B series parts.

you have to enlarge the wrist pin end of the rod to fit the type r piston. stick with the B16's they should be cheaper and easier to find....if your buying brand new, which you should.
