...or 16" wheels will all accord wheels inter change with each other, etc. se accord withe exl accord

Maybe yes, maybe no. The bolt pattern for your car is very common and you can easily find 16"& 15" wheels with this pattern. However the wheel offset may be a problem since models with 17" wheels may have larger braking calipers which the smaller wheels might not clear. Be simply doing a test fit, if it clears you're good to go. However, by going with smaller wheels, you will also compromise handling and control as well and expect excessive shoulder wear on the tires. Make sure your replacement tires have the same overall diameter and load carrying capacity as your originals to keep your speedometer accurate and support the vehicles load.
