How can I shorten my gear ratio on my 89 Honda accord?

I have a 89 Honda Accord DX. with a 2.0 L4 A20A1 engine and a 5 speed manual transmition, it got some really long gear ratio in it right now and it has no acceleration at all with this transmition, is there a way to shorten the ratio and up the acceleration honestly 105 is way to slow for me and I just need to get up there quicker, is there a way to do it with the tranny I have or do I need to get a new one. and if I need a new one do you know of a place I can get one with short gear ratios.

although the ratios are great for nos (keeps the revs down) for every inch you go down in tire size it lets the engine torque work more for you . so put a bottle on it -- or -- shorter tires.---not both!!!!!
