Horrible Torque Steer (story & question)?

My friend just souped up his 95 integra Gsr. He's putting down around 350 hp (verified on dyno.) Now as we were driving, he wanted to show off some of this newly gained HP, changes gears and the car darted side to side all over the road!! He barely maintained the vehicle on the road. I believe he was this close to shitting himself, I on the other hand played it coo -cool as a cumber.......... -_- after everything was said and done it was some scary a$$ $hit. LOL. Anyways what could be done to improve torque side steering? especially in a 4WD car.{Edit} I meant front wheel drive***If 350 hp is too much for the car to handle then how come I see some integra's in competitions with +400 HP and the drivers seem to have no troubles at all?
