I am part of a car sharing program that includes several Toyota Priuses as part of the fleet. I enjoy driving these cars, except that they make an annoying beeping noise whenever they are put in reverse. The beeping lasts the ENTIRE time the car is in reverse, and is similar to the beeping noise that some big utility trucks make when backing up. I want the next car I buy for myself to be a Hybrid, but I could not stand driving a Prius as my only car if I always had to listen to that beeping. Does the Honda Civic hybrid also beep like this?

nohonda civic does not.toyota guys put those beepers into prius just for the fun of it.it's more like ...... beeppp beeeppp.... loook i'm driving a hybrid beepp... loook at me i'm drivin a hybrid......beeep ....beeeppp..... yup.... and that's the purpose f the beeper
