well they can.. they can call u'r insurance company and tell them u have that modification done to u'r car, and they'll probably drop u from their plan.
but other then that.. there's no reason not to go with a 50 shot on a B16

And you don't have to go nuts on retarding u'r timing... a few degrees (3-5) will be more then enough. And you shouldn't notice it that much if at all during normal driving.
Just make sure u'r getting enough fuel that's all. Make sure u'r fuel pump is in good condition and up to the task, maybe even upgrade it.
Run colder spark plugs that are properly gapped as well... that'll help prevent detonation.
a 50 shot is really no big deal... and nitrous at that level is a straight forward setup.
Although I would suggest investing in a bottle heater, it really makes a big difference when it comes to delievering the "proper" shot.

the main problem with nitrous is stupidity which gives it a bad name
#1 change you plugs to 1 degree colder
#2 you must run 92 octane or greater
#3 retard your timing 1-2 degrees
don't spray in first below 3500rpm or 5th gear at all and your laughing
this rule of thumb goes for all cars :thumbsup

It would probably be a good idea to close the gap on the spark plugs a little bit... The rule of thumb is to use as big a gap as you can get away with....hey if you can run a .60 gap....all the better, probably won't happen, but.... On any forced induction application, a big gap may not work all that well....you still try to run as big of a gap as you can....but if it's too big, the spark could go out...I would suggest an extra margin of error in a forced induction setup...If you would normally run a .35 gap for instance, close it to .30-.32.....a small spark is better than no spark at all... if it's an all out race car, you can push the limits more, but on a daily driven street car, you should use a nice tight gap on those plugs...they will ignite all the mixtures and you won't have to worry about the spark being too long and blowing out.

This is why they say not to spray on the highway or in 5th gear... because high engine load and nitrous don't mix.

There are few more people then u think runing the bottle.
Alot of people hide there bottles in anything from a Speeker box to a baby seat.
As for using it if your motor is in good shape u can run a small shot no prob,
The probs only start when people use to much spray or there timing is off.
U can still melt a piston in a turbo or SC car just as fast as a bottle fed one.

since cops are cracking down on streetracing and checking for modded engines, is it possible at all to hide the nitrous hookup? i noe you can easily hide the bottle though... someone can pm me if they do not want to post it...
BTW, think about directport... heard its pretty good
