id say ur thermostat could be stuck closed, that would probly be the best place to start since theyre pretty cheap to change.

ya hes right, grab a new thermostat. Dont get the CT fail safe one though, i have heard from a few people that they stick open. Takes forever to warm up the car afterward.

Umm...im not sure if you know this but thats what it is designed to do...
An ordinary thermostat most likely will fail in the closed position thus not allowing coolant to flow passed causing overheating and engine damage.
A fail safe if failing will seize in the open position allowing coolant to flow not causing severe engine damage may have slow warm up but it allows the vehicle to at least operate without failure.

You guys are still running T-Stat's in Motor Swapped Honda's

Wait I geuss you're daily driving it ? otherwise I'd jsut say don't run a T-stat.

Might want to change the T-stat and change it to a colder *

ya i know that a fail safe thermostat is suppose to stick in the open position when something goes wrong. But i'm talking only a couple of weeks after it was bought that it stuck open, on 2 of my friends cars. Even the counter guy told me the same problem. For the money if i ever had to buy another thermo i would just go the dealer. failsafe at ct is like 20, i cant see more then 30 at the dealer, and at least it would be good for a couple of years

You cant expect much from a CT thermostat buy quality parts like STANT thermostats etc...quality means everything a good failsafe thermostat is key to any engines survival in our climate especially with the various changes...
I will never use a motomaster product on my car...i know better
