best turbo & wastegate on b16

Im looking at getting a new turbo and wastegate for my b16a3 with an ssautochrome manifold. Im running on stock internals and am going to be running around 8psi for now. i was previously running a turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid with a tial style wastegate. Im wondering if i should purchase the same setup or if there is a better turbo or wastegate for this setup.

Thanks in advance

First thing i'd do is get the ssautochrome manifold off your list. They are really crap, i've seen them cracking and/or even falling apart. If you got the cash get a nice equal lenght manifold, if not your better off with a log style manifold made of cast.

As for a turbo- Whats your hp goal? You may wanna check out precision turbo's, really good turbo's imo. Way better than turbonetics. Also keep your tial wastegate, they can hold the boost really well.

skillton will become famous soon enough
My suggestion is go with another t3/t4 if you still have stock internals, especially if your manifold has a t3 flange. It flows more than enough to blow your engine, and should spool pretty good on a b16. If you don't plan on building your bottom end, get a .50 cold and .48 hotside. It will spool early and still be good for at least 300whp.

SuprAdam can only hope to improve
Considering how cheap it is to get a quality turbo manifold for a b-series engine, get a better one.

Keep the Tial wastegate, that is a very good unit.

Stick to a small t3 turbo for stock internals.

Yeah this setup is somewhat temporary until winter....im either going to make a built ls vtec with my b16 head or im going to put a stroker kit on my b16 bottom end. Or maybe even a stroker b18 bottom end. Still havnt decided but something like tht will be done.
