Depends on budget. The best bang for the buck would be a dohc zc since they are cheap and you get 130hp, next in line would be a B16.

zc's are not really worth swapping or modding. best i'd say is B16A1/2 or a B18C1.

ZC has plenty of potential, You just need to know where to find it and how to obtain it.

ZC is cheap reliable fun, They take a beating and parts are everywhere.

B16a is again next step up.

All depends what type of budget you're on.

b16 or b18 is the way to go
h22 would work out nicely if you get the axles lined up properly
k20 would be the best option, but unless you have a budget under $10k it's out of the question

i dont get why everyone says k20 is the best. with 15-20grand, you'll have a niice k20/k24 turbo setup installed, but with that much money, you can have a sickk b18C turbo setup that will rape the k20/24 setup anyday

if it's for your g/f just put in an LS. you can get a complete swap for under a G note. a simple setup like that in a chassis as light as a CRX she should be quite happy with the pull.

B18C1 or B16 if your gonna cheap out.

Check out Info on "Franken-B's" B18 with other B motor parts like B18 bottom end with other B motor parts.

I used to know a little about them but I sold all my refrance material.
