Cool '95 gsr in a '92 vx. hard start, need help!?!

I have a 92 civic hb vx with a '95gsr motor When i go to start it when the engine is cold i have to hold the gas pedel down and continue to hold it partially until the engine warms up. Once warm everything is fine.

Through talking with various ppl i have heard that the "auto-choke" is not wired in correctly. Also was told to run premium gas, which i did and no diff.

Anyone out there have any experience with this particular swap and how to remedy said prob.??

Thanx guys

Have your idle air control system checked out. Is the check engine light on?
