92 Honda Accord with gear troubles--?

I have a 92 Honda Accord automatic that when it is put drive it seems like it is starting off in 3rd gear as you have to give it a lot of gas to get it to go. The park and drive are also both lighting up on the dash when you crank the car. It almost seems like it is stuck in gear. Thanks.
