could be quite a few things.
Do you have on aftermarket wheels and do the wheel nuts center the wheel and fit correctly??
could be a shock upper support .

could be lower control arm ball joints. The noise can sometimes sounds like a steering prob.

Siezed ball joint. push down on the front of your car and have someone listen.
don't leave like that for long, snapping ball joints is not cool or fun.

This fine example of what we don't want to see which seemed to be a steering noise also.

Vehicle that morn. had been doing over 160K on a major 4---hwy and this pulled right thru that same evening, thankfully for all concerned in a parking lot with the vehicle at a stop sign. Can you say buy a lotto ticket lucky???
boot was in good condition, just m----g supposedly H. Duty crappy part.

Stick to orig. quality BJ's and check frequently for wear and loosness, especially if you are frequently up over 1 ton. as you tool around out there.

Check my post just before the vid. post.
It did break. Pulled right out of the socket.
I pushed the ball back in to show the amout of slop that was there. Looking at it it gives the ******* as to what could have happened that morning.
He bought a lotto ticket. Did not win but then IMO he had already won by getting away with that.
