hey everyone just was looking into some input on a fuel gauge issue on my car ..
alright i have a 1990 civic si with sohc zc now the issue is while im driving my gas gauge all of a sudden drops to empty and i just filled up the tank ...and the car almost wants 2 shut off then it will go back 2 full and be ok and then repeat the process has anyone ever heard of this be4 ??? if so i would like to know wat the problem is so i could fix it thanks ...also another thing is when i fill up the car the needle doesnt go all the way full...your input would be greatly appreciated

Id start by checking your fuel pump. The pump sends a signal to the ecu which is telling the ecu, there isnt enough fuel, therefore the ecu reacts by trying to shut off the vehicle.

Check and make sure everything is okay underneith.

ya i'd say it's the pump or the sending unit. maybe even the wiring to one of those.

well heres the new scoop when i press the brakes teh car dies out when i use the rear defroster the car dies out the signals are all fuked up have u heard of this ???
