2003 accord v6 diagnostics code P0300(random cylinder misfire)

symptoms: rough idle, engine light on and blinking. I hooked it up to a dianostic tool and came up 12 codes....P0300 (random misfire), and the others are individual cylinders listed as misfiring....all except cylinder 4. I change the spark plugs...still the same. it has 44,000 miles on it. Any ideas how to fix???

Did you just change the plugs ?

Did you just change the plugs ?. Try doing a whole tuneup - You know the wires and the rottar. You may try test the coils two. Its probibly soemthing simple.

Just had the same thing on a 2003 Accord EX V6. Changed spark plugs and got no change. Parts store said I needed to change out the 6 Ignition Coils. (This car does not have spark plug wires but instead has Ignition Coils that cost about $45 each. So, I purchased only one (1) Ignition Coil, per an earlier post on this forum. Changed one coil at a time until the problem was solved. Then to get the blinking Check Engine light to go out, I removed the Positive battery cable for a minute or so. Blinking light is gone.

Ask them for a copy to be sent to your attorney! That might help change their minds. If your car is under warranty. Tell them you want proof that the engine could not overheat because of a defect, rather than abuse. You want it in writing.
