2 issues with swap: Distributor Problem, rear engine mount bracket problem

Recentely got my hands on a motor, came out of a 1997 civic sedan. I'm having two problems putting it into my eg.

1st problem: the distributor connectors are different. This is my biggest problem right now. My motor was a d16z6 with a obd1 dizzy and the swapped motor is a obd2 GSR. I was wondering if i could swap the distributors but we have not attempted this yet due to the mounting problem. which leads me too..

2nd problem: (keep in mind this is a huge assumptioni will soon make) the rear mount is bolted in, but the bracket we have is not long enough to reach the crankcase and block. The bracket used in is his 1997 dx was most likely a EK civic b18c bracket, my car being a 94 cx hatch would likely need a 94 to 01 integra b18 c bracket? we tried both my stock d series one and the civic b series one, neither was long enough.

also for those whom have attemtped this swap, please help me out by letting me know some other issues i may run into. Thanks alot guys.

i think you will need a b series obd2 dizzy inorder to get it in, d series parts just wont fit in, just after word use a obd2 to obd1 harness on ecu and run ur stock computer w/new chip or best just check out pgmfi.org they will probably have more correct info

if the motor is obd 2 and the car is obd 1 you'll need an obd1 distributor or the conversion harness.

right now you prolly have a SIR rear bracket, you need a rear bracket from a 94-01 integra (any model).
About the dizzy, you can use the obd2 b-series dizzy, you will just need to either cut/solder an obd2 dizzy plug onto your engine harness, or cut/solder the obd1 plugs (there are two) onto your obd2 dizzy. Its pretty easy to do, i've done it a few times.
Or you can just buy an obd1 b-series vtec dizzy.
You will definately need an chipped obd1 ecu with a stock gsr program on it, or a obd1 p72 (gsr ecu, which are super $$$ and pretty hard to find). Or you can have your current ecu modded to activate vtec/iabs and chipped....PM me if you need this done, or an already chipped/modded ecu.
