Question 02 relocate.. honda experienced people only please!!

i have purchase 4/2/1 headers for my 90 DA b18a. i had to settle fr headers off of an obd2 98 ls. is there an 02 eliminator or any tips on helping the car not throw a cel due to the moved 02( stock location is right above the header flange, new locate is right before cat)...i dont know if the cel is eing thorwn due to lack of 02 content since it is now downstream, or its not heating up enough...any thoughts on this please?

thanks

Deep

As long as it is before the cat i dont see it being a problem, does it have a pre and post cat O2 or just the one?...the way I see it the O2 percentage will be the same as long as it is before the cat...I may be wrong, but theres enough honda experts on here to help you out

the car is obd0, so it doesnt have the leading/trailing o2's...its just got the one. im thinking its got something to do with the sensor temp. when i rape it, no cel. when i crusie, cel. ill have to wait to see if Mark of TSR chimes in. he's good with honda's.

the o2 sensor isn't getting hot enough - you are right with your prediction. my best piece of advise is to either rap it in exhaust rap, or buy an o2 bung and plum it in where the stock one is.

btw, are you selling your old exhaust manifold?
