Why would the check engine light come on in 2000 Honda Accord?
#3
Sometimes my check engine light comes on if I don't screw the gas cap on tight enough. You should probably get it checked out either way. I think Aamco will do a free inspection (they just hook a machine up to your car's computer to see why the light came on). Hope that helps.

Hello, Honda-people.
I have a 2003 accord, and i am having major problems with my oxygen sensor. I have replaced it twice now, and the stinking check engine light continues to turn on with the same codes, which identify the oxygen sensor as the problem. I hate to go to the dealership, because they are so ridiculously over priced, but the mechanic I took it to has no answers, and the oxygen sensor obviously isn't causing the problem. Now I'm out $300 and still haven't fixed the problem. Anyone have any problem with the same thing and find the solution? Please help!
