Why does my 1986 honda accord lxi 2 bbl carb shakes?

{ have a 86 honda accord lxi 2 bbl carb. It shakes as soon as i put it in gear, only in drive. all the engine compartment. If i put it in any other gear it doesn't shake at all, only when i put it in drive (d and beyond).

Can anyone give me a tip?

Thanks.

you might have a broken motor mount, or a misfiring cylinder. In park at idle the engine will run smoothly, but as soon as you put a load on it the engine will start to shake. so try this. Look around the engine compartment for all the possible spots where the engine could be mounted to the car, if nothing is broken, then check all the spark plugs if they are black as hell or the center nub is worn out then you need new ones, more than likely your car just needs a basic tune up.

sounds like you have bad motor mounts .they also called engine insulators.
