of transmission fear? It is priced very cheap, but all I keep reading is transmission break downs. It's the V6. The V6 has the most complaints, some say the V6 is the culprit and and 4 cyl is not, is that true?I don't want the manual. If not the V6, would you buy the 4cyl in the same situation? I read somewhere, the chances of failure are 1 in 6, it that true? Or is all this just a rare occurence and complaints are so rampant because so many people have bought accords?

We have a 2001 Honda Accord with OVER 175K miles on it. It's running great. Trying to make it last as long as possible. We have never had transmission problems. I've had more problems with with people breaking in and trying to steal the radio!
