well first of all its not an EX-L if it doesn't have leather, the -L means leather. but to answer your question, it would be cheaper to buy the one with leather than to try to have your seats recovered with leather. why not pony up to your dad and see if you could pay the difference in price to get what you want, or you could just quit bichin and be happy that he's not buying you a preowned Yugo with a hole in the floorboard.
