Shifting too fast from first to second gear grinds, or if it is over 3000 rpm. Also downshifting over 20 mph causes it to grind. I can go weeks without grinding but it gets annoying. I know its the synchro on 2nd gear. How do I get this fixed and how much?
There is 236k miles on the car, and only 3k miles on the clutch, the idiot that replaced the clutch didn't replace the transaxle seals, and the transaxle fluid came out all over my driveway, got that fixed too, but to the best of my knowledge the grinding started after it came out all over my driveway. Think that had anything to do with it?
