I have a dropped '97 honda accord and i want to raise it up.?
I have a dropped '97 Honda accord and i wanted to raise it, i was told by my neighbor that i had to replace the "Strut/Shocks" so i did. I bought the struts and we replaced them, it raised it up about maybe half an inch but its nowhere near "normal" or how it comes out of the factory. I was then told that i needed to replace the "coil overs" or coil springs but i cant seem to find the original ones. Well i just want the original size but i cant find them anywhere! Where can i find the coil springs to raise it up to normal? PLEASE HELP!

Well you're guaranteed to get them through the dealership, but it will probably cost you an arm and a leg. You probably have aftermarket lowering springs (coilovers) another option could be to post on some car forums a trade (your lowering springs for someones stock springs). Your last option would be to find them at a junkyard, but youd have to take the entire strut and spring assembly since theres no way to get them out at the junkyard.

you have an aftermarket performance strut/spring combo. I would just go on forums and look for someone selling a stock setup because you shouldnt have a problem with that seeing as people are always upgrading their suspension and have no want for the old stock parts.
