Honda Accord everything honda accord

I have a 90 honda accord that idles up and down when cold but fine when warmed...

I have a 90 honda accord that idles up and down when cold but fine when warmed...

...up, whats the problem? In the morning, or when it cools down, after starting the car idles up and down. It only does this when it's cold, but once the car warms up it's fine.....then again it does it too after running on the freeway and once I exit to the stop light it does the weird reving thing. up and down. So it does it when it's cold and it does it when it's hot...what could be the problem.















The car's a 1990 honda accord lx 5spd

well the problem here is that the car needs to warm up to work properly.

sounds like a thermostatic choke, but maybe it is a vacuum advance not real sure when Honda got rid of all those vacuum lines.

Sounds like maybe an automatic choke problem.

Your Oxygen O2 sensor is going out and the computer is trying to compensate. Just replace the O2 sensor
