Read the manual it walks you thru the whole process of turning it off. On older cars you could just unplug the battery. Newer cars it will involve you turning the ignition on and off and pushing in the dimmer ****. Check your manual for the exact process or you can go to honda and they will turn it off for free.

Not knowing the year of the car I'll just guess. With your switch off, press the reset button in your gauge cluster, next to the trip odomter. hold it down and turn your switch to the on position, keep holding it down and the maintenance light should blink once, that is the car telling you it knows what you are doing, keep holding the reset button down and about 15 seconds later it should turn off.Good Luck

Turn ignition off...Push and hold the trip odometer reset button on the instrument cluster, then turn the ignition switch to "on" but do not start...Maintenance light should begin to flash...when light goes out the minder is reset.
