Im sure it will run good as long as you take care of it and keep up on the maintinence. I had a Honda CRX with about 160,000 miles on it when the sppedometer broke! I just made sure I took care of it and it ran very well!

Average mileage clock is approx 25,000 km per year. You are clocking about 6000 km a month and that is about 72,000 km a year about 3 times more.

Simple logic tells us that it is going to run down 3 times faster. This is so , because a car is a mechanical machine and your maintaining cost is also going to be 3 times more.

This is the reason why Taxis are scrapped in 7 years, whereas private Cars in 10 years. Taxis also run like mad in a day.

probably a very long time. i presently have a honda civic, 99 with 253,000 miles on it and it is still running very well. hondas are awesome. this is my second one. my dad also had one that he put 300,000 miles on then gave it to my brother and it was still running well.

As long as you change the oil every 2 months (or at least check it that often) I would also recommend using either fully synthetic or at least 50/50 oil, just the regular stuff will hurt the engine running that much. Also use mid grade or premium gas you should be fine almost forever, Hondas are bullet proof. Tire rotation is very important for that many miles also, every 2 oil changes rotate the tires. You should be fine.

You'll be in good shape certainly for the next 6 years.

Afterwards, when things break from normal wear and tear, it'll be cheaper to maintain than to buy a new car (which entails another 5 years of monthly car payments). For instance, a broken speedometer is going to cost less to fix than a single month's car payment, right? You can probably squeeze another 6 to 10 years out that way.

Only reason why people buy a new car every so often is to keep up with the Jones and stay fashionable, they're in sales and drive clients around (e.g., realator), or they have lifestyle changes (e.g., get married, have kids, etc.).

For most peops, budget wise, staying with the old car will be better on your wallet.

BTW, don't go for any extended warranties ... they're a rip off ... like insurance, sellers make money which means buyers lose money, else why are they providing the service?

With good maintenance and good road there is no reason why it will not keep going on and on. I have seen people starting with Honda cars that have over 100,000 Km and have run at an average of 90,000 Km per annum for years without problem apart from change of driving shaft
