It's really simple- it's in the owner's manual....I have a 2004 Accord and it's probably the same- give me a few minutes; I'll go grab the manual and be back in a little bit if no one else has jumped in.
Merry Christmas!

Reset the display after completing the required maintenance service. You will see "OIL LIFE 100%" on the information display the next time you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.
Reset the maintenance minder as follows:
NOTE: Vehicle must be stopped to reset.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.
If oil life is more than 15%, Press the select/reset **** repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed.
Press the select/reset **** for more than 10 seconds The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will blink. NOTE: If you are resetting the display when the engine oil life is more than 15%, make sure the maintenance items requiring service have been performed before resetting this display.
Press the select/reset **** for another 5 seconds. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to "100".
Important Maintenance Precautions
If you perform the required service but do not reset the display, or reset the display without doing the service, the system will not show the proper maintenance interval. This can lead to serious mechanical problems because you will no longer have an accurate record of when maintenance is needed.

1st off, without proper diagnostics you cannot get a proper repair... with that being said...
2nd, turn your car off, push and hold the odometer reset button, turn on your car and there should be dashes in the odometer display, when the dashes finish then you are done.
3rd, read your owners manual and you should be able to find this information when you need it.
Good luck and hope this helps.

I have Saturn my oil reset is in the fuse box under the hood. But the one who changed your oil should know that or not do oil changes. you just turn key to on but do not start car push and hold for about 5 seconds.
