how can i get the most performance out of my 88 honda accord?

i have an 1988 honda accord lxi and im wondering where should i start to get more performance without spending a whole lot of money?

intake and exhaust should be the first start....but you can have two out of three of the following

The car is equipped with an I-4 (inline 4) engine, NA intake. To increase hp, you will have to spend a lot of money to make it work because the engine give out around 100 hp (back in 1988, it was great).































However, the car has one great option, you can cut the ac belt and eliminate all those extra equippment which will give you better mpg.































BTW, the car was not a sports car and there was not many aftermarket tuning part available for upgrades. Good luck.
