Honda 2.3L SOHC vs 2.3L SOHC VTECH?
I'm looking into purchasing a 2002 or newer honda accord and i was wondering what the difference between the standard 2.3L and the 2.3 vtech motor was. other than the torque and horsepower ratings...are there reliabitilty differences between the two?

Should not be any reliability issues. All VTEC is basically is like having another camshaft profile the motor can choose from.
Cam profiles are most effective over a small amount of revs, say between 1700rpm and 3500 rpm. VCT means that there is another profile that takes over at say 3500 rpm, to 5500 rpm.
It means drivability is affected, there is more power available at the lower part of the rev range, without sacrificing top end power
