My car is a 98 Honda Accord EX V6. The smell doesn't happen all the time, but often enough that it's an inconvenience. Any ideas? I've heard that you have to take the condenser apart and have it serviced, but I am all DIY after all, and money doesn't grow on trees!

If you don't clean your Ac very often, bacteria is going to grow in your AC. And plus the hot air outside and the AC inside, your AC will begin to smell. So, clean it.

YESSS!!! i know what ur talking about! it smells like mold!!! ugh!
