b20b or b18b?

i have a 98 civic auto and i want to swap to one of these 2 but my question is on the b20 that i've found on hmotorsonline says a long block what would i need to make this work on my car besides getting another intake manifold and a b series auto tranny? would the swap still work even though the car is auto?? thanks

H22 dude, that is a hot motor right now, a friend just put one in his Accord, its pretty wicked just stock! It's what they had in the mid 90s Prelude SI's but I think they still use it...look into it, but outta the two you said, I say b18b just cuz its a good one. What would really haul a$$ is a mid 90s IntegraLS motor equipped with GSR heads, I don't know what motor that is though, but know that combo will out run a Stock GSR Integra because the LS motor has a longer stroke...good luck!!!

The B18 will be an easier swap. If you want to stay with an automatic. Your best bet would be to get one from any 1990-94 acura integra. Also use B18 automatic tranny, you will probably have to make sure that the ecu is an auto too. Also B18 spark plugs, timing belt and vtec ecu motor mounts.
