where does the tachometer wire connect to and from

One end obviously connects to the tachometer itself. The other end should connect to the distributor or very close to it.Mine has an 8-wire bundle coming out of the distributor base. It connects to a fat plug a couple of inches away. I assume one of those 8 wires feeds the tach.Good luck!
