Good day eh? I'm a constuction Millwright working out of sask.my fun car is currently a 78Z28 with a bbb 455.Iam currently iooking for a 200R4 od. At the present I AM RUNNING a very strong T350 .Iam also thinking hard about going from 2:73 to 3:42 or 3:73 hence the od .The old engine was a stock bbb72 block with 73 heads ,rpm intake + 268 comp cam .this wasn't abad combo till the engine went south .The new engine is abit more gutsy72 block+heads,10:1 comp slugs,balanced,heads port+polish,268 delta cam .If some one knows a place in ca. 2 check out od trannies I'd really like the help. thanx

I can hook you up with a shop, depending on what you want to spend and how much torque you'll be putting to it...

The 200R4 is a pretty weak Tranny, your best bet it to Find a BRF model which came in the Turbo Buicks. they are as good as they get.

Send me a PM I can shoot you some info on what it takes to make the 200r4 take abuse....

I take it that the first 3 letters in your E mail was the tranny pre fix 4 GN tranny.Not sure what PM is but bare with the computer illiterate person .Iknow about the22-4R's weaknesses but it's a direct bolt in 4 the T350 .Also don't want to order from the states if possible& to have the name of a good shop out west would be great ,SK even better thanx again 4 putting up with my B> S> . Crap this is a late late relpy to my own post but hey i did find a tranny shop in Saskatoon Sk that does hi-pro work . They said to build it(200-R4) to take the torque from the 455 would be about 1800 bucks give or take a little . The thing i like about the is they are only1 hr away andi have heard good things about them from local car guys . Later bake. PM me if u want the name & # of the shop.
