New here, glad I found you guys
Hi there,
I just found you guys while browsing around different Camaro sites. I can see this place being a great source of info for me.
I am currently completely rebuilding an 84 Z28 from the ground up. So far I have the car completely stripped to nothing and have built and LS1 that I got from a 2004 Corvette. I guess I should say "block" from the 'vette, as that is all thats orginal, and even that has been modified. I have over $17k in the engine.
My intention is for this to be a show car and sunday driver. I will take it to the track probably only once before its painted and final assembly just to see what kind of numbers it can run.
I'm hoping to have the car running for the track by spring and then completed for next spring. I'll add a couple of pics.

Thanks for the warm welcome and comments.
The Sweed - I will attach a list of whats been done to the engine. Alot easier than listing it all, lol.
PS. The engine build and paint are the only things I'm not doing on my own.

I am a wellsite supervisor for a major oil company. Pays good, but takes me away from home 2 weeks at a time.
