lol. i just went for a ride since its so nice out and ive been so busy lately and i got on the highway. well it was very clear, only a few cars here and there. so i went up the on ramp in 2nd, then 3rd and mashed it. well i got in the left lane and just let it loose. it really shocked me when after only a second or so i looked at the spedo and i was already climbing over 100, and i mean fast. i couldnt beleive the top end it had, really suprised the hell out of me. just wondering if anyone else has this "problem" lol.

Fortunately I also have that problem. It kind of comes with owning a F-body. Lately though I miss that problem. Having to run open headers kind of keeps me under 2000 rpm's. It's ok....that problem should be fixed by the end of the day

I have those problems to....early morning getting on the empty freeway...yea I have a led foot just to wake her up. Still just being a V6 she can really pick up and go espically if u drop it into 2nd and let those RPMs go up and smash it.

Yea i have that problem haha i just have to watch the speedo so i dont get my *** in trouble. theres no better feeling then just jamming on the go peddle and watching everything start to blurr within a few seconds.

I have a lead foot too... Theres this one little strech for about 1/8 mile or so right after the stoplight in town before I get to work that merges into 1 lane... So when the light turns green if the other person likes to go the same speed as me, I like to mash it to get ahead... I hate getting stuck behind slow people.

hehe. yea. i just cant beleive the car it has turned into since the exhaust and just the nice fresh air, the ride quality and rattles, it just seems like a totally different car. plus i had the windows down so you can really hear it scream and man o man does it scream. i need to get a sound clip inside the car when i stand on it, hehe its crazy.

i dont get it...my rear tires suck, theres way too much traffic out here...and if i get another speeding ticket im ******.
but im curious matt...and gentner...what kind of gains did you guys get with your headers? i can honestly say i have no idea what kind of real power gains headers produce.
on my z those mac mids sure added quite a bit of torque...

well from the Z to the WS6, with just the dynomax only(how i bought the T/A) it was quite a bit faster than the Z. it had a lot of power before i even touched it. but now with the headers, aside from the noise levels and the awesome sound, hehe, like i said the top end feels like a totally different car. the pull from high speeds really is crazy in the right gear. And when you just stomp it now, the throttle response is really a huge difference. it really is one of the key factors to power on these cars and i have first hand experience now. i actually have some good proof that theres a big power difference, before i could smoke the tires all day long, into any gear. now the clutch just slips and it kinda bogs down for a second.lol. i have to go easy when i get on it during the shifts otherwise i get the noise where you just go AHHHHH clutch. lol anyways, Caleb if theres a way you can do headers and get by SMOG definitely do it, you wont ever regret it.

Well, I just got my car back from the shop. I can tell you there is a huge difference. The biggest gain I can see so far is the car doesn't have to try nearly as hard to go fast. Everything is just all around smoother and it definetly sneaks up on you. Before you know it you are doing 60, then 80 and so on. Absolutely worth every penny I invested.

0-100 in i dont know but i was pretty impressed with the sluggish 305. The sound was something to remeber too
