Which would you rather have under your car...
As a few of you might have picked up on, I finally solved the situation of my car not being able to fully plant the power it was making..
I recently purchased a Moser 9" with all the bells and whistles..
-Detroit Locker with 4.11 gears
-Nodular Iron center section
-35 spline lightened race axles
- Welded Back brace
-Vent system
Which would you rather have under your car...
And in between the moser and the motor will be a 3.5" steel driveshaft behind a SPEC stage 3 clutch..should help plant that power I am going to make-

haha sweet. i want to get a 12 bolt in my car. theres nothing cooler than seeing a 4th gen at a carshow and looking underneath to find a bigass 12 bolt with aluminum girdle all looking good.haha. that setup should really put down all your ponies. what suspension mods you got done?hehe

TUBBED ~ w/a Narrowed 9" and a 4 link set up with Coilovers Please!
Seriously though.....that should do it for ya bud. I don't see any reason why you should need more than what's on that list,.....as long as it's set up right. So what "ARE" you going to be running for suspension back there?

we talked to a guy at Speed INC that had a supercharged Z-28 with like 50k into the drivetrain, lol. he said him and a few others had likea group purchase on 9"ers and they all had problems with them. i forgot exactly the whole deal but i just remember he said the 9" had a ton of problems and after switching to the 12 bolt it was awesome. just what i heard. either way better than 7.5".lol

That's right I forgot about that. He did have tons of problems with his but remember he had one of Moser's very first 9" rears and he said they just rushed coming out with them.

I will be running Edelbrock LCA's, Panhard with a BMR Torque Arm- tunnel mount style. They are a pain to put in, but they take all the stress off the tail shaft of the tranny. I haven't decided on which sway bar I am going to use, something much better than stock though.
I also have to put in drag springs- the sportlines are comin out. Also going to put in a bag to help level out the car when I do go to the track.
As to the 9" vs. 12 bolt there are enough things back and forth on them. One reason I decided to go 9" is a have a friend who can set them up 'blindfolded with one arm tied behind his back underwater' type so I odn't have to worry about getting it set-up right again should I ever have a problem. Not to mention the quick change center section is a bonus!!

o thats cool you got a guy whos good with it. that suspension should be killer. the previous owner of my car had a stub torque arm and all heim link tubular parts, more set up for auto x but he said all of the components are amazing compared to the stock stuff. either way should be sweet!!! you got any plans for tubular k-member/ A-arms or anythign in the front?hehe
