all it took was a $1.19 bolt and scrap metal ... looks fine when it is covered by the boot and works great and its got a 3.5" throw

ive always thought...cant you just cut two inches off the top of the stock one and rethread it?

i got the hurst base already so it had a higher ratio built in i just wantwed it a little bit shorter still

Depends on your goal. Do you want a shorter stick or shorter throws. A short shifter changes the pivot point of the shifter, not necessarily the length of the shaft itself.

yeah thats why i said i had a hurst shifter... that is what makes the biggest difference in the throw but the shorter stick will help you out a little bit more
