I think an EManage is the best thing next to full standalone. Definately better then an SAFC.

How much is that system anyways?

That's not too bad at all... But you could have also gone to a full stand alone like Megasquirt for less then that, and be done with it if you think about it.

I was considering megasquirt... but I decided against it for a few reasons. First, I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting everything to work properly. I don't have the patience to solder a circuit board together. Second, I wanted to keep the car a daily driver. I don't think MS is good enough that I'll be able to get good gas milage or driveabilty like I would with a stock ECU and an EManage... which were the two primary reasons I went with that setup.

Just get an aeromotoive and be done with it. I've had 2 different aeromotive afpr's in the past and both worked perfectly, and have the ability to flow lots of fuel. I got mine in a kit. I beleive I paid $199us for my afpr, return line, fittings, and fuel rail adapter. The only thing I needed to add was a liquid filled fuel pressure gauge.
And your right, the Emanage is only as good as the person using it.
