What was the cheapest car you bought

I want to know whats the cheapest vehicle you bought and how much did you pay for example I once bought a 1989 ford festiva with a 4speed and 1st and 2nd did not work on upshift down fine so you had to take from neutral to 3rd to 2nd to1st for it to move forward but for ten bucks cant beat that. ps its a bush beater now at my uncles sorry no pics.

A FREE 1990 Subaru Justy that required nothing for a legit safety. I drove it as a DD a few years ago for 16,000kms putting nothing into it but an alternator and a wheel bearing over the course of time driving it.

It had a wiring gremlin and would quit intermittently for no reason. Ended up being a connection for the fuel injection setup. A buddy of mine gave me the car to use as a field car after his dad gave him a 99 Legacy Wagon upon buying a newer Subaru.

Anyway, the car was in great shape, my friend had only owned it for a few months and paid like $1000 for it. I offered to give him money for it, wouldn't take it.

Anyway that little 4dr four wheel drive beater was ruthless. It took everything I threw at it and made it through many snowstorms. It's sitting out at a friend's house now, I passed the favour along and gave it to him but he never ended up using it because he went in for knee surgery and couldn't drive standard. I should get that car back lol.

damn. Everybody's got me beat. I got an 87 lebaron for $888 ($1000 after tax and title)

Loaded. Power seat, digital dash, turbo, everything. Engine was just rebuilt but the radiator leaked badly and the headgasket was blown.
