Went to the local drag strip for the first time
This past Friday i went to the drag strup for my first time with my new car. I was dissapointed. I don't think i should of been because of the circumstances but i'm really not sure. My best time was a 15.1 @ 89mph. It was a humid night out Friday night and i know that might have had some effect on my time but not that much. I know that my car doesn't have a lot of HIGH rpm power. Once it hit about 2-3 gear the rpms just drop dramaticly. I was smoking EVERYONE i raced off the line, but after i would get the jump on them and my car would shift they whould start to catch up. I'm really debating right now on what to buy to get my car to not drop on its *** at higher rpms. I have had so many ideas but people keep telling me different what i should go with? Any suggestions?

I have a cam installed right now. It is 1 step up from stock. I'm just really not sure what intake i want to get. The Holley Stealth Ram intake requires changing of the fuel rails and it also requires aluminum heads.
