Twisty Roads
I remember from a while ago (on the old board) people talked about a section of really twisty roads that people liked to rip around. It got really dangerous for people living there, so they put sand or some on the sharp turns..
was this place called Twyn Rivers? My friend was telling me about it tonight (Been there before, but didn't know what it was called) and then I told him that story.. I was wondering if I was thinking of the same place.

Rated one of Ontario's worst road's in 2004
Sheppard Ave. E
between: Twyn Rivers - East of Altona and Rougemount Intersection of Altona and Sheppard and continuing along Sheppard East. Pot holes, heaved pavement.

there's a road I call the "enfield run". It's a blast :thumbsup
and if this antiquaited board doesn't like that...
The best way to get there is take simcoe st. north in oshawa until you get to "Howden Rd." Turn right.

Your thinking of The Credit river area, the locals have been putting sand on all the corners for some years now.
edit: Though mind you there not doing it anymore,, stops motorcycles yes..
but it just makes drifting more fun :thumbsup

Just try driving North and you might find you own place in the middle of nowhere, a few nice spots here and there. This has also resulted in my pull-over stories post on this forum . Just make sure you have someone (or two cars) with you, one can stay on one end while the other stays on the opposite end and they can keep a look out (bring a communications device). Good luck and don't do anything stupid, make sure this is an empty area. You never know when someone or something (Deer, seriously...) might pop out.
